She closed her eyes and saw his face underneath the iris moon
Holding out her hand to reach him as she spins in her room
Maybe her silent screams would bring him back
She’s falling so hard that she’s loosing track
Of what he is making her feel deep down inside
Searching around herself there is nowhere for her to hide
Away with the clouds so they can protect her soul
From splashing down with the rain bowl
That would drown out the sound of his name
And take him away from whence he came
Into the music bar just down the street
Where the same sad song was pulling at her feet
Her smiles make him nervous around her
Or perhaps it’s the weather in October
Her hands burn as she touches his face
He tells her to calm down in a public place
Turning her head aside to hide her fear
Swallowing her heart with a bottle of beer
Getting drunk from laughing out loud
All the smoke is clearing out the crowd
She can’t see as she blows him away
If she kept the story real he might stay
With her in the woods to look up at the stars
Whose pride came before they fell in some old bar
Holding her breath as she takes his hand
To stop the boy from sinking into the sand
Losing her grip on the pain gone by
Everything will make sense if she could try
To keep herself from crying inside out
She would explain if she could only shout
Out to her senses to come crawling back
So she could finish her reality attack
As they tie her up and leave her standing there
For him to see into her as she is stripped bare
And take away the torture of the memories
Of what she saw behind the lemon trees
She looks up to the sky in hope and wonder
Her skin gets wet as she feels the thunder
He asks her not to change him any time soon
Smiling she says it would be like changing the moon.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
