You see the black from the white in my shades of gray

You are my bright warm sunlight amidst the winter snow
You paint the colour back into my life when it fades away

You shine me rainbow after the rain has poured down

And you bring me my happiness after my sorrow
My life raft at sea rescuing me before I drown

You are my shelter from the cold and wind at night
My shinning star in the darkness of the midnight sky
My guiding truth within the rumour of a lie
